Kilo is a small neighborhood wine bar created by Emanuel Kalionzakis. Named for markets and restaurants of the Mediterranean where food and wine are sold by the kilo. Following some old school coffee shop sensibilities and family traditions we opened in August 2012 in the underserved neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen.  

         Matt Collins, the chef de cuisine joined the Kilo team in February 2017. A Culinary Institute of America Alumnus with training from across Europe, he brings  his refined yet irreverent approach to the constantly evolving but always inviting menu.  

         Sommelier,  LJ Hollins is considered the in-house ambassador of kilo's wine program. Our dedication to small production, organic, and low- intervention wines may seem at first unfamiliar, but his creative, guest-focused way of decoding them will leave you with a new favorite you never knew you had.  

         Our tenured staff seeks to bring something unique to 9th avenues dining scene, including esorteric mondays and seasonal specials.
